Obituary Note: Adrienne Rich

Can a blog that talks about feminist issues AND books not  mention the passing of Adrienne Rich? Her poetry and essays influenced me the most when I discovered her in college, which may be when a lot of young women discover her. She was progressive in a conservative time, always stood against war and injustice--both political and social. She had this radical notion that women were people and posited that people (not just poets and artists and such) all have multiple layers of selves.
